Service Description
In this workshop, we will explore all aspects of creating a routine from scratch, from concept and costume considerations, musicality and lyrical interpretation, use of space & creating contrast in movement, right through to how to engage with your audience and the final performance! This workshop aims to equip you with your very own D.I.Y Choreography “Tool-kit” and is loaded with useful tips, tricks and trouble-shooting ideas to help you create and choreograph your very own pole, burlesque and dance routines. WHAT TO WEAR? Please wear warm, comfortable clothes. (The majority of the workshop will be seated.) There will be some movement involved so leggings, joggers and loose fitting clothes that are easy to move in are recommended. WHAT TO BRING? - Whilst there will be some movement involved, this is a predominantly a theory based workshop, so please bring pen & paper or a device to take notes on. - Cushion or similar to sit on. - Water Tea/Coffee & snacks will be provided. Should anyone wish to stay and put what they learn, on-the-day, into practice, there will be an open pole-practice session after the workshop, which is included in the cost.
